If my art careers fails I will open a small restaurant called Aimee’s Place.
My menu to start would include:
I was tossing around the idea of running a restaurant someday. I have a few signature dishes and really like cooking for people (some of you are aware of my talent). The meals I prepare usually take under 20mins, are veggie friendly and a mix of cultures- that combined aren’t really available in the Buffalo region. I would like it to be a small inexpensive comfortable no BS space with take-out. 6 or so tables a 2-3 person staff- to make it easier to handle than a big place. I would definitely need an experienced manager to help me along the way-I would be in control of the concepts. I wish I could start my new career by guest spotting at a local restaurant once a week. Like on a day when Lagniappes would normally be closed. It would probably confuse the regulars but would be a good time to test my concepts. I think it would be cool to call it Aimee’s Place-it is funny since there is an Amy’s Place in Buffalo and also as a fuck you to everyone who can never spell my name right.

-Lemon pesto pasta! (with veggies)
-Panko-encrusted Seitan with short grain sticky white rice and steamed veggies-served with my
dad’s secret sauce
-Thai noodle Salad with carmelized tofu (served warm of cold)
-Massaman Curry-sweet tangy coconut milk curry with potato and other veggies with short grain sticky white rice.
-veggie empanadas with yellow rice (using fake ground beef or beans/rice)
-plaintain casserole-layers of fried plaiantains with rice, blk beans, peppers, onions.
*all dairy/eggs can be optional to make things vegan.
